Cherub Choir for age 4-Kindergarten

All children ages 4 through Kindergarten are invited to join the Cherub Choir. Rehearsals are Monday afternoons from 3:30-4:00 PM directed by Tammy Zerbo. The Cherub Choir sings once a month during worship service and on Christmas Eve at the 4:00 PM service.

Good News Singers, Good News Ringers, & Good News Players

All students in grades 1-6 are invited to join the Good News Singers Children's Choir directed by Tammy Zerbo. The Good News Ringers Children's Handbell Choir is for grades 4-6 and is directed by Rob Aughtry.  The Good News Players (grades 1-3) uses the Orff method of exploring and processing. (Orff is a globally accepted music education approach conceived by German composer Carl Orff.)  Rehearsals for all groups are on Monday afternoons with the following schedule:

Children are encouraged to participate in both choirs available to them, but they may choose to participate in just one or the other. Follow the schedule to be at the appropriate rehearsal on time.

Good News Singers and Good News Ringers perform in several Sunday worship services throughout the year, as well as on Christmas Eve at the 4:00PM service. In addition, the Good News Singers present a musical each year. The Good News Ringers participate in an end of the year handbell concert and attend a local handbell festival each year. The Good News Players perform for at least two worship services during the year, and the director is Tammy Zerbo, Orff certified.
