We offer a new member class series quarterly. This four-session series gives you valuable information about the United Methodist Church, about BUMC in particular, and gives us the opportunity to get to know each other.
If you currently are a member of another United Methodist congregation, we would be glad to speak to you about the simple process of transferring your membership. If you have never been a member of any church, are coming back to the church after an extended absence, or are coming from another denomination, we can help with this process, too. Simply contact us through the church office (703-250-6100) or speak to any member of our ministerial staff the next time you are at church.

Through the act of baptism, infants as well as adults come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Our church offers baptisms in the celebration of public worship as scheduled with a pastor. The ministerial staff of Burke United Methodist Church will be ready to answer any questions about this sacrament and assist you in deciding which options works best for you or your family situation.
